We organised our annual flagship event called the Summer of Quant which was 2 week long workshop which consisted of two parts ,first a three day long "Quant Foundations" where we covered market basics like fundamental and technical analysis followed by "Quant Masterclass" which was a 5 day workshop where we dived deep into projects like time series modelling, portfolio optimisation techniques and different quantitative strategies for trading.
Introductory Seminar

We organised the annual introductory seminar for the fresher batch of 2021 which was attended by more than 150 folks. Apart from giving a brief introduction to the realm of quantitative finance we also gave them a quick view of our internal projects by illustrating a number of simulations on market data.
Quant Internships Decoded

Quant Club IIT Kharagpur in collaboration with Technology Students' Gymkhana presented a career orientation program about internship options in quantitative finance. The session offers tips on how to create a stellar resume, prepare for tests and interviews, and understand the necessary skills and qualities for the profile.
SEMINAR on BANKING SYSTEM APPROACH TOWARDS CRYPTO
3rd July, 2021
Quant Club in collaboration with Societe Generale presented a seminar on the approach of the banking system towards cryptocurrencies. The key speaker for the seminar was Mr. Yatish Shivaprasad, Director and Head of Corporate Functions Technology at Société Générale Global Solution Centre. The seminar provided an in-depth look at the intersection of the traditional banking system and the cryptocurrency industry.
Workshop on Basics of Quant

Quant club conducted this event with intention of increasing awareness about the realm of Quantitative finance. It was attended by a sizeable portion of the kgp junta and we were fortunate enough to have them with us.
Internship Bootcamp for Quant Profile
17th March, 2021
Quant club conducted a session on internship bootcamp before the upcoming CDC internship season to create awareness among the junta about the oppurtunities in quant profile. We invited the students who had cracked internship in the profile to talk about preparation methods and their experience in the process.
